All of Furry's friends and family were at
the service. They sang some of Furry's favorite hymns, prayed that
God would take care of Furry; and heard Pastor talk about how Furry
was with God and Jesus.
When the service was over, the group
gathered, hugged each other and shared about how good it had been to
know and play with Furry.
The next day Mury felt sad and started to
cry. He told Meri how much her missed Furry and how he wished that he
had been able to get him out of the building.
Meri was crying too. She said, "Let's go
see Furry's Mommy."
Furry's Mommy was happy to see Mury and
Meri and gave them a big hug.
Even though Mury and Meri could talk with
Mommy and Daddy and Furry's parents, there were times they wanted to
talk with someone else.
They went to the Church.
Pastor was there to greet them and invited
them to come in and talk.
It was so good to know another grown-up
could help them.
